when talking about Weight loss, the first problem we encounter is obesity (overweight). Every person has their specified BMI that body Mass index. BMI is the calculation of body fat depending on their weight and height. It helps to calculate the normal bodyweight a person should have. Normal values of BMI ranges within healthy range are 18 to 25, below which is underweight and above is overweight. Unhealthy diets, sedentary lifestyle, ageing, genes (hereditary), physical inactivity, eating disorders and other diseases all lead to obesity. Being overweight brings numerous complications such as mortality, hypertension, heart disease, dyslipidaemia, Diabetes, stroke, etc.

These excess calories, when not utilised properly through physical activity will help storing fat droplets that will in turn increase adipose tissue size simply adipose thickness. different bodies respond to different ways to weight gain. Pregnant women gain weight this is gestational weight gain. People with a history of depression and taking antidepressants are awfully seen to be obese. Ageing can result in weight gain. People gain weight every year with increasing age. Moreover, obesity can be the consequence of some pathological condition. Some pathologies such as diabetes mellitus also increase body weight. expert says weight gain starts from midsection of the body. associated signs and symptoms of weight gain or obesity are being fatigue, breathless, hypertensive, lazy and constant hunger. foods such as junk food, soft drinks, juices, chocolates, sweet candies, creams and butter are some of the common causes of weight gain. Eating excess food and taking prolonged rests will result in weight gain.

Fasting means to giving up food /zipping the mouth for planed prolonged period. Similarly, during intermittent fasting, a person refrains from eating food for specific period while eating after so and so period. But keep in mind, a person should eat controlled portion (smaller) of food.

Their studies also claim that developing countries like Nauru or Palau are way more affected by obesity than developed countries.
